Anyone who has been on any of my photography courses will know I talk about ‘shoot loose’ and ‘crop afterwards’ as a way of having control over the final image. As the customer does always see the images as we see them, I personally like to crop an image to take out unwanted or negative space, if I can improve an image with a simple bit of cropping that takes me a few seconds then why not? Here are two image taken on Fridays 4 hour hour (which turned into 5 hours) photography course at our studios in Hertfordshire. This is our new model Tatiana who was absolutely fantastic and photographs so well. You can easily see how the cropping works and when someone has eyes that are this piercing, its important to accentuate them.
